Alright, recently I had gotten myself started in two fandom which I had never really thought about getting myself into ... before now. Labels: fics progress, VK, VotF
First of all being the fandom of Saiunkoku Monogatari, I currently had a chinese fic in writing progress. Its' being posted up in a chinese website, and has been receiving good comments since the first time I've posted the fic. I used to update it on daily basis, but now it had went down to weekly update. I should probably start writing the next chapter, but I had yet to do so ... intending to wait until the very last minute. Probably, I'll start on it later tonight ... or tomorrow ... Alright, I admit ... I'm procrastinating.
Not that I'm experiencing writer's block or anything, I would have gotten the chapter written and up tomorrow if I do not have to go to work ... (blame my boss for deciding to call me in at the very last possible minute ... damn)
So I guess, an apology would be going out to those reading that chinese fic of mine. Sorry, there would be no update tomorrow - after all. However, I'll try to have two chapters up the following week to make it up to you people out there ...
Right, another fandom which I've recently gotten myself into would be the 'VK' fandom otherwise, known as the Vampire Knight.
I'm currently into the idea of Zero x Kaname or vice versa, and thus had a new fic up on FF.net on them both. (I know .... BL, haven't been writing for ages already ... so ... anyway, can't resist ... There, you have it! )
The fic's entitled 'Visitors from the Future' - and I played around with the idea of having their kids from the future travelling through the time, and somehow ended up in the past whereby the series had only just begun ...
The idea of having a time-travelling fic is really not that foreign, but its' definitely something new and original in the 'VK' fandom. There were hints of M-preg in there, but not really being describe in details ... just being mentioned in passing. Of course, the ability for them to have kids and the kids being able to travel through time would involved the use of some ancient spells ... which took me ages, to come up with a plausible story to that whole history of the spell that came to exist in my fic.
Currently, I'm working on Chapter 5 of the fic. Hopefully, I'll have the chapter out on Sunday's night ... or Monday's morning ... Depending on how fast I write, and if I'm satisfied with the turn-out of the chapter. These days, I kept on re-reading and re-writing my chapters ... especially for this fic of mine. I'll only post them, after deciding that it sounded 'good' enough or 'acceptable' enough to my own standards before posting them up.
I've been talking to Craze-Izumi too, on the phone recently. Having re-kindled our 'friendship' through the VK fandom, again ... The last time when we conversed so earnestly with one another was when we were both being obsessed by the fandom of 'POT'. XD
We've been talking and discussing about the possibilities of how my fic will turn out, and the possible reactions of the characters that had yet to make their appearance in my fic. How would they have reacted to the kids' presence ... Then, she shared with me a couple of her fic ideas too ... though, it makes me wonder if she will ever write them XD
I hope she does, though ... cause' quite a number of the ideas had me laughing off my 'head' while on the phone with her.
As my fic will be set totally in the AU universe, since the kids travelling this far back up in time are bound to change the flow of the 'history' which meant the original story, anyway ... so a few things might be change.
Among them probably included the fact of Rido Kuran taking over the body of his son - Shiki Senri. I'll probably let Rido come back using someone else body instead of Shiki's ... Whether or not will Ichiru died in my fic, remained unknown at this point of time ... as I had yet to plan until that part of the story yet. I'm only up to the stage of planning to introduce Yagari Toga into the fic soon ... and I intend to introduce him into my fic by the end of Chapter 5 ... Well, shall take a break from the fic-writing now and have my dinner first. The rest can come later tonight ... if my muses cooperate with me enough to let me continue from where I had left it hanging, just now ...
